Foley Creek Trail
Foley Creek Trail is a peaceful loop through the woodlands of Hiawatha National Forest, winding past creek crossings, wetland edges, and shaded forest groves. In spring and summer, wildflowers line the path and birdsong fills the air. Though short, the trail offers quiet beauty and a sense of solitude, ideal for a family walk, trail run, or slow-paced nature outing.
While the former Foley Creek Campground is now closed, the trail remains open for day use. The adjacent Horseshoe Bay Trail connects nearby and extends about 2.5 miles out to a remote Lake Huron beach—popular with birders and wildflower lovers.
