September 20 - September 22

St. Ignace Trek the Mighty Mac

Below are event details from the 2023 event.  We will update with 2024 details soon.  Trek the Mighty Mac will take place September 20-21, 2024!

Trek the Yoop – The Year That Wasn’t

Due to construction on the Mackinac Bridge, the 2023 Trek the Mighty Mac will not cross the bridge this year.

So we are calling it The Year That Wasn’t.

But that won’t stop us from enjoying a fun-filled weekend in the U.P.

Join the Friday Meet N’ Greet and then Trek The Mighty Yoop on Saturday!

Fun for the whole family!

2023 Event Information: Message From The St Ignace Events Committee

Safety is the top priority of the St. Ignace Events Committee and its event organizers. We are all adapting to new changes and policies to help keep safety in the forefront. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work to make all of our events safe and fun for all. If the event must be drastically changed, postponed, or canceled for safety reasons, we will offer full refunds to anyone that pre-registered. At this point, we have every intention of seeing all your smiling faces, safely, in September.

This event is organized by the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau. Many of our events do not make a profit and those that do, fund activities for guests in St. Ignace including weekly fireworks and nightly music in the summer, and contributions to local programs for downtown beautification and upgrades. The St. Ignace Visitors Bureau is able to make these contributions to the betterment of our town as a whole, and your experience as a visitor, through stays in St. Ignace hotels. To this end, we highly recommend that you stay in a St. Ignace hotel when you visit, to help make these events possible. Thank you for your support of our community!
