We strongly encourage pre-registration.  On-site registration will be limited, and there will be an additional on-site registration fee.  Depending on our registration numbers, if you register on-site we cannot guarantee that you will get everything in the registration packet.  We will provide registration packets to on-site registrants while supplies last.

Registration fee of $45.00 for the driver, $35.00 per adult passenger, and $12.00 per child 10 years of age or younger covers:

  • Mackinac Bridge Fare (north and south)
  • $10 free Kewadin Casino slot play
  • Drink Coupon (beer, wine, pop, water)

  • Participation in Murray's Midnight Moose Run

Apparel can be ordered prior to Jeep the Mac and be picked up on Friday, April 23.  Online ordering will close Wednesday, April 14 at 5pm.  Online ordering will open again after the event but only for orders that will be shipped to you.  A shipping fee will be added.

Tentative Agenda:

Friday, April 23

  • 10am-2pm – Registration packet pickup at Little Bear Arena and staging of Jeeps
  • 2:30pm – Mandatory driver’s meeting
  • 3:00pm – Jeeps begin to leave for bridge crossing
  • 4:00-7:00pm – Meet-n-Greet at Little Bear

Saturday, April 24

Jeep the Mac participants leave on their own to go to Drummond Island.  Drummond Island staff plan on many activities throughout the day. They will post additional information at their website as it becomes available:  visitdrummondisland.com

We also plan to have ‘Murray’s Midnight Moose Run’ in St. Ignace on Saturday evening where any interested Jeepers can participate in an evening cruise in and around St. Ignace to specific locations.

ORV Sticker - If you are riding on county roads, or at Turtle Ridge you do not need an ORV Sticker. In all other cases, you do need to have an ORV Sticker.

You are responsible for having any required ORV licenses or permits.  Click here to visit the website to read or obtain a copy of "The Handbook of Michigan Off-Road Vehicle Laws and Riding Basics 2020".  You can download the handbook to your computer for free, or there are iBook and Nook versions that can be downloaded for $1.99.

Drummond Island Schedule

Jeeps and Java - Jeeps and Java will take place Saturday morning. Watch for details coming soon!

Jeep Headquarters -The Visitors Center will become Jeep Headquarters. Maps, trail condition information, and more will be available.

Poker Run - Participants will receive a poker playing card. Draw a playing card at stations around the island and return your poker hand at Jeep Headquarters. Top hands win prizes!

Free admission ALL DAY Saturday

All Jeep the Mac registrants will receive free admission to Turtle Ridge Off-road Park.  The ORV trails created inside the 400-acre park have been designed to provide both a challenging ride as well as provide the rider(s) with the unique experience of one of northern Michigan’s old, deep wood forests and wildlife preserves.

Rock Garden Challenge at Turtle Ridge - In addition to the free admission to Turtle Ridge Off-Road Park for all JTM participants, Drummond Island Resort and Conference Center is hosting a spectator area at the Rock Garden inside Turtle Ridge. Spectators will be able to watch Jeeps take on this extreme challenge area. Concessions and bathrooms will be available.

Trail Riding on Drummond Island

Drummond Island is known throughout the midwest for its miles and miles of off-roading trails located on state land. Plan your adventures ahead of time by checking out our off-roading page. NOTE: An ORV sticker is required to ride the trails and is not included the Jeep the Mac registration.

Cancellation Policy:  Partial refunds are available if you cancel more than 30 days before event (cancellation fees apply).  Registration fees if you cancel within 30 days of event are non-refundable.
