Detour Reef Lighthouse

In your time on the Light, you will get to see it all, and photograph it all, while walking in the footsteps of the original light keepers. Visiting the DeTour Reef Light is a unique experience and is a testament both to the importance of shipping in the region and the nation’s political, economic and social history. The Light is also valued for its architectural beauty and esthetic value as a landmark of the area.

Sitting on an offshore underwater reef the DeTour Reef Light boasts a working 1956 F2T foghorn, furnishings similar to when the light was a manned station, and a scale model crib demonstrating the underwater base that the DeTour Reef Light rests on. We hope you enjoy your time on the Light as much we will enjoy sharing this this adventure with you.
