Silver Mountain Hike & Bike Trail
Silver Mountain Hike & Bike Trail winds through forested hills and exposed bedrock just west of St. Ignace. Designed for both mountain biking and hiking, the trail features a mix of flow-style riding and natural terrain. Riders will find bermed corners, rock features, and gentle elevation changes, while hikers can enjoy the quiet woods and views of nearby lakes.
The trail was built by the team at Rock Solid and is open in all seasons. In winter, it’s groomed for fat-tire biking and snowshoeing. Its short loop and variety of features make it a good choice for anyone looking to explore the outdoors on foot or two wheels, without venturing too far from town.
- Easy access for riders traveling to the U.P. Just over the Mackinac Bridge and 3 miles west on US2 with ample parking

- Features approximately 120 feet of vertical relief

Disc Golf Course:
Next to the mountain biking and hiking loop lies a 24‑hole disc golf course built into the ski‑hill slopes. Designed for all skill levels but rated “hard” for its elevation and technical play, the course stretches approximately 2.6 miles. Highlights include a thrilling +600 ft downhill par‑3 and a mix of wooded shots and open fairways. Tee pads are rustic, navigation relies on newer signage, and games typically take 2–4 hours. The facility is free, dog-friendly (leashed), and offers portable restrooms at the trailhead.
