50th Annual St. Ignace Car Show Weekend
June 25-27, 2026
For half a century, St. Ignace has roared to life each summer with one of the most iconic automotive celebrations in the Midwest. In 2026, we mark 50 years of chrome, engines, music, and memories on the shores of Lake Huron.
Join us for a special anniversary edition of the St. Ignace Car Show Weekend, featuring hundreds of classic and custom vehicles, downtown cruises, fireworks over the bay, and special guest appearances honoring five decades of automotive passion in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Since 1976, St. Ignace has welcomed generations of car enthusiasts from across the U.S. and Canada to our picturesque waterfront town. What began as a local cruise has grown into one of the nation’s longest-running and most beloved all-make car shows.
In 2026, expect expanded displays, special heritage vehicles, live music throughout the weekend, and a few surprises as we honor the event’s rich history and the people who built it.

2026 Schedule of Events
Thursday, June 25
Cruise Night hosted by Kewadin Casinos
Registered participants receive $10 in free slot play.
Vehicle Staging: Kewadin Casino – 6 PM
Cruise Departure: 7 PM
Registration is required to participate.
Friday, June 26
Down Memory Lane Parade – 7 PM
Celebrating the 43rd year of the parade and the 50th Anniversary of St. Ignace Car Show Weekend.
Participants must arrive at the airport staging area no later than 6:30 PM.
The parade will be broadcast live on 100.7 FM radio.
Registration is required to participate.
50th Anniversary Drone Show – Dusk
Viewable throughout downtown St. Ignace.
Saturday, June 27
The Big Show – 8 AM to 4 PM
Downtown St. Ignace from Church Street to Marquette will be closed to traffic from 5 AM to 5 PM.
Explore hundreds of classic vehicles throughout downtown, enjoy live music, visit vendors at the St. Ignace Marina parking lot, and watch for special guests and additional activities.
Awards Ceremony – 3:30 PM
Registration Tent at the St. Ignace Marina
Fireworks – Dusk over Moran Bay.
Show Your Car
If you have a classic car or vintage truck tucked away in your garage, why not consider registering your pride and joy and bringing it to our car show.
Onsite Registration: will be available, $35 cash only. You must be registered to participate in Cruise Night & the Parade.
Onsite registration/packet pickup: Will be available at the Registration Tent, located just to the left of the entrance to the St. Ignace Marina from Thursday June 25 & Friday June 26, 12pm-5pm and Saturday June 27 8am-12pm.
We are HIGHLY recommending pre-registration so we can better prepare for the event. We also recommend that you pick up your packet on Thursday or Friday if you arrive in town before Saturday. It will save you some time and effort. For the 50th Anniversary, those who pre-register will recieve a special commemorative gift. On-site registrants WILL NOT recieve this gift.
Pre-registration closes on June 12th at NOON.

Event Details
Theme Award: “Class of ’66” Anything 1966 related.
Location: Gazebo at American Legion Park, 200 State Street across from US Post Office.
Registration: 8am – noon
Awards: 2 pm
We have over $300 in giveaways so far and also an airbrush and compressor as prizes.
Top 10 for adults, Top 3 for juniors and rug rats, plus multiple specialty awards like Best Detail, Best Paint.
Introducing the new Ed Reavie Memorial Award
There will be a misc. category for anything non-automotive and a Best of Show.
Rug rats (kids under 12): FREE
Juniors (13-17): $5 per entry
Adults (18 & over): $10 per entry. No limits on number of entries.
