Woods and Waters leads guided kayaking tours in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We specialize in Lake Huron’s Les Cheneaux Islands and the eastern UP, DeTour, and Drummond Island, but tours can also be offered in the Straits area.
The Les Cheneaux area has 36 islands with miles and miles of Lake Huron shoreline offering both protected and “big water” paddling adventures Trips to suit all skill levels. Options include sunset, full moon, 2-hour, 4-hour, all day, overnight camping, custom tours (including Boy Scouts and large groups), lessons and women-only workshops.

Rentals also available: sit-on-top kayaks, paddleboards (SUPs), sea kayaks, canoe, and bikes (bike repairs too). We also have a well-equipped outdoor gear shop with unique gifts.
