What to wear on the ferry

Dress comfortably and plan for changing lake conditions. Many travelers choose to dress in layers so they can move between decks comfortably depending on weather and wind. Even in summer, the breeze over the water can feel cooler than expected.

Helpful suggestions:

* Light layers (a jacket or sweatshirt is often useful)

* Sunglasses and sunscreen for upper deck seating

* Secure footwear for walking on and off the vessel

* A hat that won’t easily blow away if sitting outside
