DESCRIPTION:This annual event is packed with everything North Country Trail. From guided hikes to workshops to inspirational presentations to campfire camaraderie – if you don’t arrive feeling part of this community\, you absolutely will as you head home. Plus\, you’ll have gotten the chance to explore the trail across Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula. This is a particularly scenic section\, well cared for by the dedicated volunteers of the NCTA Hiawatha Shore-to-Shore Chapter. \n  \nRegister  To Participate in the North Country Trail Celebration\nThe fun starts on August 21-August 25. SUMMARY:46th Annual Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show
DESCRIPTION:Always the second Saturday of August\, the Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show is known as one of the largest show of its kind and has grown to encompass family friendly activities throughout the week. \nThe “Boat Show” has been a major attraction since it began in 1978\, and it continues to improve each year. Today\, we attract about 150 antique and classic boats and have more than 300 volunteers to assist our visitors with an amazing show. \nThis year we are celebrating Chris-Craft ‘Holidays’ and ‘Continentals’ but all vintage/antique dinghies\, rowboats\, canoes\, launches\, sailboats\, utilities\, runabouts\, large cruisers\, racers\, classic glass\, and classic metal are welcome! \nFood\, Live Music\, Shopping\, Classic Cars\, Sip N Sail Cruises through the islands AND (of course) amazing vintage and antique BOATS! \nFor more information\, please visit www.lchistorical.org.
