  • From St. Ignace start on UP 2_47 and just north of Moran continue east on UP 47 to Cedarville, Detour and Drummond Island.
  • In Cedarville you can take UP 49 north through Pickford all the way to Sault Ste. Marie.

  • Drive to Strongs, take Route C toward Sault Ste. Marie.

Woodland Dunes Routes Include: Trout Lake, Newberry, Naubinway, Sandtown, Gould City, Curtis, Cut River Bridge, Rexton

  • St. Ignace to Trout Lake Trail Route M goes straight to Trout Lake.
  • Or branch onto Route A in Brevort then head South on Route MA to Lake. Michigan shoreline in Brevort.
  • Or stay on Route A to scenic Cut River Bridge.
  • Route A then continues to Rexton and on to Newberry.
  • Route AH route splits off and goes back south to Naubinway.
  • Route A continues to Sandtown.
  • Route AJ spurs south to Gould City.
  • Route MA goes from Lake Michigan Shoreline in Brevort north to Route AI (an alternate route to Newberry) and continues to reconnect to the St. Ignace to Trout Lake Trail.

  • St. Ignace to Trout Lake Trail Route M to Route AN in Moran.
  • In 7.5 miles head east on Route A.
  • Option to take Route AQ south to Cedarville.
  • Route A continues to DeTour and Drummond Island.
  • Route AR continues to Goetzville.
  • Route N goes to Pickford.

Canada Lakes Pathway Green Loop is a 4.2 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Newberry, Michigan that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
