St. Ignace Mud Runs

What is Mud Running all about?  It is a chance to bring out your 4 x 4 and compete in the most ultimate and unforgiving terrain - a "Pit of Mud'.  Just trying to make it through the pit is not the only challenge, as you compete for time and distance against other 4 x 4's in various classes, ranging from the "Everyday Joe" in his stock rig to "All-Out Andy" in his Mud Rocket.  Some of these guys are top-rated professionals in bogging.

St. Ignace 2008 Mud Runs are scheduled for May 25, July 5, and September 6, at Little Bear East.

The May 25 Mud Run is being held in conjunction with the Yooper Motorcycle Show, ATV Fun Run & Swap Meet being held at the Little Bear East Arena.  The Yooper Motorcycle Show will be on Saturday, May 24th, and Sunday, May 25th.

On May 24th you have the opportunity to show off your 'Mud Run Truck" from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. in the outside show area at Little Bear East.  Truck registration is from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on May 25th.  Mud flies at Noon.  The Mayor's Choice Award will be presented on Sunday afternoon.

The Mackinac County Animal Aid will have concessions on site.  As well, here are some of the features of the May 25th Mud Run:

• 100% Payback per Class
• "J" Track
• Women's Classes
• $20 Entry Fee for all Classes
• FREE Kid's ATV Fun Run at 11:00 a.m.
• Beer Tent
• Pig Roast
• $5.00 Admission at Gate allows you access to both the Yooper Motorcycle Show and the Mud Run!
